Undeniably Fated by Shelly Crane Teaser

Happy Sunday everyone!!

One of my favorite authors, Shelly Crane, just recently released a new teaser for the upcoming book in the Significance series(one of my all time favorites), Undeniably Fated.  And because I love any and all teasers related to my favorite books, I thought I'd share it with you guys as well. Enjoy! :)

Title: Undeniably Fated (Significance #6)

Author: Shelly Crane

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Age Group: YA

Publication Date: TBD

Ember’s life has been a series of events leading her to just one fated moment. The one moment she’s waited for her entire life, when she can finally find the one she’s supposed to be with and feel his touch buzz along her skin. But when tragedy comes, there’s no one to blame and no one to save her, not even her significant.

Or maybe the impossible will become possible.

Landon has wanted to be a firefighter since he was a kid. As a teen, Trouble was his middle name and fighting a blaze helped him stay on a good path. But Trouble meets his match in a pair of despairing blue eyes. He only hopes he’ll be able to save her the way she saved him.
With hostilities brewing at the reunification, and Seth's trial on the horizon, the clan's begin to wonder if a peaceful end can be reached. And if everyone will make it out in one piece.

Teaser:

“I’m not embarrassed!” I yelled and adjusted my tone. “Damn, Ember.” I turned so she wouldn’t see me squeezing my eyes so tightly, about to lose my ever-loving mind. “You’re the most gorgeous woman—”

“That’s not what I meant. I didn’t mean what I looked like and neither did you.”
I flew back around, ready to let her have it again. Fighting with Ember was just as fun as anything else we did. But what I saw when I turned made me stop, made me grip my hair painfully, made me question what I’d been thinking and doing, and what I planned to do from here on out.

Guest Post: Why I Love The YA Genre by Sherry Soule

Hey guys!  Today I have bestselling author Sherry Soule here to talk about why she loves the YA genre.  She also recently released the second book in the Starlight Saga, Under Sunless Skies, a fun paranormal/Sci-Fi romance series with some really cool characters! Enjoy! :D

***

Hi everybody, I’m author, Sherry Soule—waving from the SF Bay Area. Thanks for letting me visit today, it’s an honor to be a guest here and meet fellow booklovers.
YA (young adult) Lit is a general term used for books aimed at the teen market. Nowadays, these books can be read by anyone at any age.
Ever since I was a child, I have recognized that books are a way to travel to other places and have incredible adventures. Even though I am older than the average teen reader, I’ve always loved reading Young Adult books and strongly believe you’re NEVER too old to read them. A great book is simply a great book regardless of its intended audience. I read both adult and young adult novels, and equally love both.
One reason that I enjoy reading YA Lit is because most novels in this genre are fast-paced and thrilling, and will captivate teen and adult readers alike. The storylines are just as complex and imaginative as adult fiction, in my opinion. And teenage characters tend to have a much more hopeful perspective than adult literature, which draws me in—plus the fact that I’m really a big kid at heart. I also adore that there are so many books created into a series nowadays, so that you can continue to have additional adventures with your favorite characters.

Paper Planes & Other Things We Lost Review

Title:

Paper Planes & Other Things We Lost

Author: Mindy Hayes & Michele G. Miller

Genre: Contemporary

Age Group: Young Adult

My Rating: 5 / 5

Goodreads Summary:

On June 18, 1992, Flight 397 crashed off the coast of Long Island. But this story isn’t about the crash. Not completely.

This is a story about two high school seniors living very different lives, who share one connection: they both lost parents on that fateful flight.

Slowly, letters bridge the gap between California and Pennsylvania as Ruby Kaminski and Brett Pratt find a way to remember the past while looking toward the future.

This is a story about hope, paper planes, and the other things they lost.

My Thoughts:

What do I say about this book?  Besides the fact that I am in love with the cover (who wouldn't be?), I knew from the very beginning since I read the summary that this was going to be one of those books that breaks your heart a little bit, and yet still has you smiling, laughing, and gushing over the most sweetest things ever.

This is one of those stories that stays with you long after you finish.  It's one of those books that you want to go back and re-read almost immediately after finishing it, because you know that even though it tore at you heart, it still somehow managed to put it back together in the most sweetest, perfect way imaginable.

Make Significance TV Show Happen!

Hello fellow bookworm friends!!

I know I haven't been around much, thanks to it being the end of the year and being buried under finals.  But anyway, school's about to end in about three weeks, so I will for sure be back to posting more often then! :D

For now though, I am just popping in to share something that means a lot to not only me, but also to a huge group of readers and an amazing author!  Some of you guys may be familiar with the Significance series by author Shelly Crane.  If you aren't familiar with it, don't worry! You can learn all about it HERE. :) This series is one of my all time favorites, and last year it was on it's way to becoming a awesome TV show.  However, due to some conflicts arising this show has currently been stopped.  All of us readers/fans, the cast, and author are of course upset over this.  Thankfully, another super awesome fan created a petition to continue with the show and bring it to the big screen!  So what I am sharing now is that petition.  All of us readers, the cast, and Ms. Crane would love to see this series make it to the big screen, but in order for that to happen, the cast and crew need all the support they can get.  So if you have heard of this series, read it and loved it, please consider signing the petition and sharing it as well. :)  Even if you haven't heard of or read this series yet, but would like to check it out, and believe that this series is worth making into a TV show, please consider signing the petition.  The petition also explains the conflict and why the show was stopped after all the effort that was put into it.

To learn more about it and/or to sign the petition you can go HERE.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and a even bigger THANK YOU if you choose to sign the petition and support this amazing book series and show! :D

Hope you all have a great weekend!

True North (Undertow #3) By K.R. Conway ARC Review

Title: True North

Author: K.R. Conway

Genre: Paranormal Fiction

Age Group: Young Adult

My Rating: 5 / 5

Goodreads Summary:

For Eila Walker, history has become its own demon. After months of trying to keep ahead of those who are hunting her, Eila is more than ready to end her days of running. But her ancestor, Elizabeth, has left a twisted legacy in her wake that shadows Eila still, nearly 170 years later.

But just when Polaris is beginning to feel like a safe haven, a brutal attack leaves the group shattered. Eila, desperate to end the violence, soon finds herself drawn into the decadent underworld of the Mortis, where lies become truths, and allies . . . become killers.

My Thoughts:
*** A HUGE thank you to MS. Conway for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!! :D ***

First, let me start out by saying that True North is officially the first new book (besides a school require one that I am not counting) that I have read in 2016! I know it's shocking that I haven't read any new books in over a month, but that's what happens when you are a high school student with truck loads of work every day and very bad at time management.  However though, I am happy to say that I couldn't have been more happier than to start 2016 with True NorthJust when I think that this series can't possibly get even better than it already is, I am given another book that totally blows that thought out of the water!

Let me warn you that unlike the first two books in this series, this one will definitely put you through the wringer and leave you an emotional sobbing, smiling, and laughing mess.  It seems that with every book, the secrets, twists, and new surprises get even bigger than beforeEverything is much more intense and trust me when I say that you will not be able to put this book down for even a second!
