Painting Sky By Rita Branches Review

Title: Painting Sky

Author: Rita Branches

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Age Group: Mature YA/NA

My Rating: 4 / 5

Goodreads Summary:

Nobody ever said life was easy...

People pleaser, Jane Skylar wants nothing more than to earn her art degree, start her life, and bask in the bliss of living with her boyfriend.

But things don't always go as planned...

Struggling with her creative side, Jane finds herself in turmoil, often confiding in her roommate - another, more talented art student, Keith Hale. Keith just so happens to be her boyfriend's older, brooding brother. After a devastating breakup, Jane turns to Keith for comfort. But when the lines blur between roommate and lover, Jane's life becomes more complicated than ever before.

When Keith's past comes back to haunt him, their lives all get turned upside down, forcing the truth to surface. Now Jane must fight for what she wants--even if it hurts everyone she loves.

A Night Of Magic Author Signing

Happy Friday everyone!!

For those of you living in or around California, there's going to be an amazing author signing next month!

Here's the original post explaining everything, from author Shelly Crane, one of the authors who will be attending the signing:

I'm coming to California in August!! You can see me and these awesome ladies AND help some awesome charities in the process.

Heather Lyons, Amy Bartol, Chelsea Fine, Stacey Marie Brown and I are coming together in Los Angeles in the Great Hall at Whimsic Alley for A NIGHT OF MAGIC on Saturday, August 13th. It will be a signing AND a charity event, with special guests.

Ticket sales and silent auction (which there are a TON of items) proceeds will benefit Race to Erase MS and Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), two extremely worthy causes. Ticket prices include a limited edition tote filled with exclusive goodies, plenty of drinks and appetizers, time to mingle with the authors, have books signed/personalized, and bid on fabulous signed books, jewelry, art, and bookish and non-bookish items during a silent auction.

You definitely don't want to miss out on this sure-to-be unforgettable event!
